What is IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)

Highly complex technique by which an egg is fertilized with ICSI / PICSI sperm in the laboratory, and three to five days after fertilization embryo is transferred into the uterus through a catheter. In order to obtain the eggs, it is necessary for the woman to undergo a controlled Ovarian Stimulation through the application of medicines.

It can be done by the traditional method or by performing Intracytoplasmic Injection (ICSI).

This technique is indicated for couples who have already performed several treatments of unsuccessful artificial insemination, obstruction of fallopian tubes or surgical absence, endometriosis or severe male factor.
